The evening begins with a cocktail hour in our Lounge Tent. Then enjoy a plated 3-course dinner in the Sobrato Pavilion followed by an exciting live and silent auction filled with unique items and experiences. Cap off the night with high-energy entertainment, including dancing to live music and surprise activities that will keep the party going!
Your attendance ticket in itself supports the school and is a great way to celebrate our students with other Nativity families. This premier school event helps create the lasting friendships and family ties we strive for as a school.

Your attendance not only supports the school, but also offers a meaningful way to celebrate our students alongside other Nativity families. This premier event is more than just a gathering—it fosters the lasting friendships and strong family bonds that are at the heart of our school community. Your presence makes a difference and helps us continue to build a legacy of support and connection. All funds raised at this event support of our school’s programs and initiatives.
Lounge Tent - We transform the playground to a cocktail lounge where you can browse the silent auction items and mingle with the Nativity Community.
Live Auction - Experience the thrill of a live auction either by participating with your paddle or watching others bid on unique, customized experiences.
Fund-A-Need - Fund-A-Need is a specific fundraising event that only happens at the Gala! Specific infrastructure and academic programming are raised collectively by Gala attendees through flat paddle pledges.
Silent Auction - View the items and baskets and keep track of your bid throughout the night.
Live Entertainment - After dinner, we'll have Pop Fiction, Northern California's Premier Party Band, as we dance the night away. We will also have fun with some extra surprises.
About the 2025 Theme
An Emerald Evening at Nativity will honor the vibrant and dynamic spirit of our Catholic school community, weaving in the rich diversity of some of our families' Irish Catholic roots. Last year, we joyfully incorporated Lunar New Year celebrations, and this year, we continue to highlight and cherish the traditions and customs that unite us across our various family backgrounds.
Our Gala invites all attendees to celebrate this year's accomplishments, the involvement of our parents, and the remarkable achievements of our students. Join us at this impactful event to directly contribute to our students’ success. Your support helps fund classroom resources, extracurricular programs, scholarships, and other critical initiatives that benefit every student at Nativity.
Since 1956, Nativity Catholic School has been dedicated to educating the whole child—focusing on intellectual, emotional, and spiritual development. Located in Menlo Park, California, our co-educational institution serves students from Preschool to 8th grade, fostering a love of learning, generosity, and proficiency in multiple disciplines. Aligned with Nativity Parish, we are committed to teaching the Catholic faith and creating a warm, faith-filled community. Our challenging and faith-infused academic program incorporates STREAM initiatives (Science, Technology, Religion, Engineering, Art, and Mathematics), shaping students to be models of Christian living. With a small student-teacher ratio, we provide customized instruction and 21st-century learning opportunities, ensuring a foundation for lifelong learning and discipleship for students of diverse backgrounds and abilities.
